Summit Foods Accelerates Snacksters’ Growth in Frozen Sector

Since the start of 2024, we have been running a number of new advertising campaigns, two new websites as well as creating a whole host of new photography and video. In particular, in recent months, we have been working to promote our Snacksters frozen range, highlighting the Big Stack’s new and improved flavour and its complete convenience for customers across the UK.

The best experience

As one of the key players in the frozen food sector, we’re always looking at ways to create the very best experience for our customers. That’s why the team at Summit Foods have been busily working on a sizzling new project focused around our iconic Big Stack burger.

So, where did we begin?

Mouth-Watering New Photography

To kick things off, we wanted to capture our burger in a new light. In a way that truly showcased its new flavour and taste. Working alongside our marketing and design partners, Fantastic Media, we engaged with the specialist photography team at HDTwo. Over the course of several days we were able to capture a complete range of images and video for each of the campaigns as well as for use across our core product websites and packaging. With a strong idea already in place, all three partners worked in perfect harmony to bring our new campaigns to life.

Campaign 1: Heat, Eat, Save, Repeat

For our first campaign, the idea was simple. We wanted our audience to choose Snacksters over and over again. Its affordability, convenience and taste allows them to do just that. With flavours so delicious, it’s a no brainer! We shared the idea that all they needed to do was “Heat. Eat. Save. Repeat” which perfectly captures the Snacksters experience.

Campaign 2: How Do You Stack Up?

For our second campaign we wanted to engage our audience and get them showing us just how passionate they are about their favourite “fakeaway” products! The idea behind this campaign was to communicate the personalisation of the Big Stack. Like gherkins? Chuck them in. Want more cheese? Slap it on! The more tailored it gets – the better. The ‘How Do You Stack Up?’ campaign encouraged customers to ‘pimp’ their burger to create their very own work of art! Our initial ideas were wacky, creative, but still delicious! We tried the Breakfast stack, the Hawaii Stack to even the Mac n Cheese stack! Most fun of all was creating the Yorkshire Pud Stack, complete with lashings of gravy!

Campaign 3: Ding. Done. Gone.

For campaign three, the idea behind this was to showcase the ease, quickness and flavour of the range. We wanted to communicate that it’s as easy as chucking it in the microwave and it’s done – ready to eat! With many in our target audience being families with children, hobbies and leading busy lives, it gives them the chance to grab some good food without taking lots of time to prepare and cook a meal. You can grab it, heat it and eat it – it’s as easy as that.

Campaign 4: Stack is Back!

Our final ad within this campaign allowed us to announce that the Big Stack is retuning to Aldi & Morrisons! Alongside Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury, our Big Stack is back, ready for customers to pick it up in the freezer aisle.

Although it’s only been a few months, our Snacksters brand has seen a huge uplift in attraction and engagement from customers across the UK. We are seeing comments after comments of positive feedback, sharing how customers have loved the new flavour, and want to try more!
