Corporate Social
Responsibility

At Summit Foods Ltd, we believe in doing the right thing in every area of our operation. Every day, we consider how we can improve our social and environmental impact and the way we conduct ourselves as a business. By demonstrating our commitment to Corporate Responsibility, we aim to align our business values, purpose and strategy with responsible and ethical principles in everything we do.

Summit Foods Ltd apply the Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI) Base Code to their operating business located in Lancashire. Companies are AB member of SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) and positively encourages their supply base to be members of SEDEX with appropriate links to Summit and to have completed self-assessments.

Summit Foods Ltd actively promotes the social welfare of all its employees and that of its supply base, contractors and service providers. It is the intention of Summit Foods to only source materials from suppliers where the social welfare of all employees is protected and maintained.

We aim to increase employee engagement through responsible activity. Manufacturing more products than ever before, our aim is to have fewer accidents, leading to less absence, together with a sustained focus on promoting health and well-being needs within our businesses. We aim to minimise and mitigate our environmental footprint and have adopted a number of responsible practices across our businesses.

We are focused on tackling the challenge of food waste, plastic reduction (were possible) and responsible sourcing of all raw materials by working closely with specifically selected partners that share our values.
